“I gave myself a time limit for each portrait: 10min, 15min, 20min, 60min, & then no limit. && I only used what I had in immediate arms distance.
I felt something deep while working on this piece. In the process, it calmed my anxieties, gave me something to focus on. Now that I've finished it, I can't do anything but cry when I look at it.
Literal tears, it fills me with so much pain, I feel lost, and can't do anything but let it out. I can't breathe, I can't focus, all I can do is stare at the wall.
So it was definitely a good idea to hang it above my bed, huh?"
I'm delusional. I still hope.”
